"New Zen" è una collezione delle più innovative "chashitsu", le tradizionali stanze dedicate alla cerimonia del té, progettate da architetti e designer contemporanei giapponesi. Questa tradizione, la cui origine è fissata durante il XV secolo, nel tempo è diventata parte integrante della cultura nipponica d'elite e dei samurai in particolare. Le "chashitsu" si compongono tradizionalmente di alcuni elementi essenziali: una nicchia con fiori e pergamene dipinte, un focolare incassato nel pavimento, stuoie di bambù e alcune finestre.
