Scientific Energy Healing : A Scientific Manual of Energy Medicine & Psychic Energy (9788393902743)

In this book, you'll learn everything you need to know to become a healer. It's the most evidence-based manual for healing with your hands;

Energy healing has been proven to boost the immune system, alleviate pain and alleviate fatigue. After going through this course, you'll be able to do all that with clients, your friends, and family.
Other energy healing books will claim that energy healing can 'magically' and instantaneously heal serious diseases such as cancer or heart disease. These claims however have not been scientifically proven. On the other hand, it has been proven that energy healing can improve cardiovascular health by promoting relaxation and alleviate fatigue and pain in cancer patients. Unlike most energy healing courses, this one is based on the findings of over 200 studies published in peer-reviewed journals done on energy medicine, reiki, therapeutic touch and all other forms of energy healing.

I developed this easy-to-use energy healing technique based on my years of research. It's a lot like Reiki but simpler and more intuitive to use.

In this course you'll learn:

How to use energy healing to heal loved ones and understand the science behind all forms of energy healing such as: Reiki, therapeutic touch, healing touch etc.
A very thorough understanding of energy anatomy and psychic energy.
How intention can influence physical reality.
How to become more compassionate towards people.
Mindfulness skills that will allow you to be a better healer.
How and why healing with your hands actually works. And what actually happens during a reiki, healing touch, or therapeutic touch session.
How energy healing works and what the latest peer-reviewed studies have to say about it.
And most importantly, what energy healing can do and can't do.
Energy healing is a skill that requires you to master compassion, focus, and intention. A lot of other courses gloss over these important foundations and just teach you a simple 'technique'. But the truth is that the technique is not the most important part.

I'll tell you a story that illustrates this; When I tried to heal a broken leg of a girl I really disliked, the leg ended up getting WORSE after the healing! It took longer to heal and hurt worse. I did the technique correctly and managed to heal other people properly at this time, but I failed at healing her because energy healing is something that's very much affected by your emotional state of being. That's why in this course I have a whole section designed to teach you compassion, which is crucial for you to become an effective energy healer.

Another important component of energy healing is the ability to focus and to be mindful while you heal. In other books you're just taught a 'technique' and asked to do it. But nowadays with our smartphones and other distractions, we often struggle with performing such focused tasks. That's why in this course you'll also be given a very thorough mindfulness trainingwhich will allow you to perform energy healing like a pro.

Finally, you'll be taught techniques which will help you focus your intention. Once you master intention, compassion, and mindfulness, you will be given a technique that will allow you to heal people on a one-on-one basis and via distance.

Sacred Journey (9781532698989)

This companion reveals Rudolf Schwarz to be one of the greatest theologians of the twentieth century. As a German architect and mystic he created some beautiful churches in a stripped-down 1930s-Modern style, but he is most revered for a single book-in English translation The Church Incarnate. In it he explores the relationships between God and God's people, relationships expressed when they meet together in worship. Schwarz is revered for his spiritual insights but it is sometimes hard to follow him on his mystical wanderings. This companion accompanies him on his sacred journey, gently guiding him back on track when he wanders off-course and keeping him cheerful. This journey has had a surprising outcome: a discovery that, embedded in its union of earth and heaven, is a practical and logical structure for the renewal of the church; renewal of its worship, space, and its ministry. Already several congregations seeking renewal have used these concepts to find clarity and direction ...

Brute : Poems (9781555978358)

Selected by Joy Harjo as the winner of the Walt Whitman Award of the Academy of American Poets Emily Skaja's debut collection is a fiery, hypnotic book that confronts the dark questions and menacing silences around gender, sexuality, and violence. Brute arises, brave and furious, from the dissolution of a relationship, showing how such endings necessitate self-discovery and reinvention. The speaker of these poems is a sorceress, a bride, a warrior, a lover, both object and agent, ricocheting among ways of knowing and being known. Each incarnation squares itself up against ideas of feminine virtue and sin, strength and vulnerability, love and rage, as it closes in on a hard-won freedom. Brute is absolutely sure of its capacity to insist not only on the truth of what it says but on the truth of its right to say it. "What am I supposed to say: I'm free?" the first poem asks. The rest of the poems emphatically discover new ways to answer. This is a timely winner of the W...
